So besides styling and personal shopping, my husband and i represent Burton Snowboards in the Mid-Atlantic region. As our selling season comes to an end it means that Spring is around the corner which also means it's time for our annual sample sale. 

I really look forward to our sample sale weekend. I get to shop at the showroom for next winters snowboard kit as well as grab awesome beanies, gloves, socks and more for the kids and me. We BBQ all day with a ton of friends and their families, drink, run around and just hang out together. A lot of the people that come up end up riding while they are there so it ends up being an awesome weekend.

remember the days of flipping through photo books and seeing your childhood on your lap? seems like forever ago and seems like it will never be like that again. i am guilty of never printing pictures. i keep everything on my iPhone or hard-drive. i tell myself every year that i will start making albums but never seem to get around to it! 

i will say i am really good at documenting everything on Instagram tho. i set my girls up with their own email addresses and email them pictures or videos of what what going on at that moment. But i want so badly to have the physical pictures around the house so that they can remember those moments.

One of the reasons i really wanted to start my own styling business is i wanted to help moms get back to feeling good in what they were wearing. There are so many changes that happen after you have a baby. Sleepless nights, getting used to breastfeeding or just a feeding schedule in general, you have that gross soft belly thing, ugh! and many more things that i can't bring myself to write about! Lol.

I have a new client that just had a baby who wants me to help her find clothes that she can wear now but that she can still wear after she loses the baby weight. She is breastfeeding so i am tailoring everything around that.

one of my favorite things about having kids is how much more fun holidays have become. as soon as one holiday passes they quickly want to know what holiday is around the corner. in our home, we celebrate easter and the ressurection of our savior. 

of course, as much as i try to make that the focus, the girls seem to keep asking about the bunny and the eggs. lol.

i live in a pretty conservative and preppy area so i was ESTATIC to find out that they were opening an urban outfitters in our local mall. not does this help me with my business as many of my clients like urban, but i can actually go in and see the item try it one etc. instead of ordering it online and  being disappointed with the quality and/or fit.

i've had my J. Crew camo jacket for 3 years now and every time i where it people ask me where they can get one. needless to say, i've been on be hunt for one for a while. my friend kara saw an Instagram post from @targetdoesitagain and alerted me immediately. she was nice enough to pick one up for me because my target didn't have them yet.

i was so surprised and happy with how great it is. it's light, easy to layer with and very flattering and only $35. bottom line is run don't walk to target tomorrow because these will not be around for long.
