One of my girls has major mood swings when she is hungry. She can go from being so happy and sweet to difficult, whiny & angry. It is all hunger related. Needless to say,  breakfast is incredibly important for her to be able to have a successful day at school. I was introduced to No Kid Hungry this year and was blown away by how many kids go to school without having breakfast and experience hunger all day. Knowing what a mess our own kids would be being sent to school without a full belly our family is excited to give and focus on helping kids around us get fed.

My search for the perfect nude heel has come to an end. It was worth the wait. Can you believe they are from Steve Madden? (Click here to check them out!). Biggest plus they are super affordable which means I won't cry if my kids spill marinara sauce on them. Total lie. I will bawl my eyes out.

Holy *Bleeeep. Complete game changer ladies. I got eyelash extensions and I am hooked!

Last week I went to Body Beautiful of NY in Mt. Kisco to get eyelash extensions. I was greeted by Gineann Creaney, a beautiful and oh so cool chick who is ridiculously good at giving you those Bette Davis eyes.

I have to admit I was always curious about eyelash extensions but I HATE hi-maintenance anything so I stayed away from the idea of getting them. I don't have the time and patience to fiddle around trying to get ready in the morning with something that is going to take more energy to fix, twist, curl etc. But I was wrong, this actually saves me time because I don't need to put on eye makeup now.

From the moment I met Gineann she welcomed me with a big smile and made me feel comfortable. She walked me through her retro chic salon and got me settle into a room.  She then asked what kind of look I wanted and proceeded to take a look at what she had to work with (my lashes have been falling out since having the baby).
