We are headed up for our first weekend away in a looooong time sans kids. Gotta say, it's almost a little awkward being by ourselves!!! No one interrupting our conversation? No stopping for a potty break or trying to jump into the back of the car to grab a fallen binki or Barbie doll? Yes this is really happening, we are on long date!
Is it crazy tho that we just left and I miss them already? I love the chaos and madness because at the heart of all of it is so much love. And isn't that all that matters?
So here's to a little break from the madness! Gonna recharge, snowboard, make out, laugh and probably end up talking about those 3 little chiclets all weekend :)
